In most cases, your order will ship the same - or next - day. If we see that it will take more than a couple of days to ship, we'll let you know what's going on, and what your options are.
Of course, during the Holidays, things can get pretty hectic. This means processing time could increase to as much as 3 to 5 days, depending on order volume. Please plan accordingly if you are shopping for gifts.
We don't offer free samples, but our Beard Oil & Balm Sample Pack is reasonably priced at $18. And you get a sample of each of our SIX scented Beard Oils, along with a sample tin of our Conditioning Beard Balm. They come in a nifty little collector tin, and every order gets a FREE sticker.
Both have the same purpose, and basically the same ingredients. The big difference is, balm is made with butters and waxes that give it a thick consistency, allowing it to provide more weight and hold. Oil, on the other hand is basically a conditioner only.
Do not over do it here. Let me say that again... DO NOT OVER DO IT! You should only brush it once after applying your oil/balm in the morning, and maybe once at night. I recommend using our boar's bristle brush. Once or twice a day, you can use a comb to remove any dust or crumbs or small children that my have accumulated throughout the day.
Rubbing, brushing, stroking, etc. is counter productive to keeping a healthy beard. I know it's awesome, but try to leave it alone.
"I don't like it getting in my mouth!"... or "It's so messy when I'm eating". I've heard it all, and I've been through it. You just have to decide whether or not you want a longer mustache that you can style. If you do, you just have to push through the uncomfortable stage. Brush it to the side, and use balm/wax to hold it if you need to. After a while, it will be "trained" that way and you'll have an awesome mustache. Keep stock in napkins.

You're going to experience at least a little itch, but you're a man right? You can handle it.
All of your whiskers have a sharp end on them from shaving. Those sharp ends are poking your skin, irritating it. Also, dead skin from your face is shedding and getting caught in your beard.
Make sure you are rinsing your beard out every day with cool water. The beard oil or beard balm will help to keep your skin moisturized, and it will soften the whiskers.
Make sure that you work it down to your skin when you are applying it, as well conditioned skin is just as important as well conditioned hair.

I orders this and it's a great deal for the money. I really love the white lightnin oil and got the cedar soap which I haven't used yet because of the last bar I bought. I highly recommend this to anyone .
The first beard oil I ordered, along with the sampler pack of all 3. I've been using Mountain Creek for under a week and so far the oil has proven to be helpful in softening and increasing the healthiness of my beard. My only suggestion would be to also order the sample pack so you can more easily find your preferred scent. Overall I am pleased, and the smell also lasts a very long time.
After much hesitation, due to cost, I finally broke down and ordered this fabulous product. I've been bearded for roughly 6 years but never knew how to properly care for my facial mane until a kindly redditor (thank you "Griswold") showed me the light. The skin on my face, especially under my beard, protested that it was tortured and dry, but I never heard the screams.
Since I've been using this oil I've almost completely ceased washing my face, beard, or hair. My acne (a decade long struggle) has almost completely vanished and my beard has become much more full, soft, luxurious, and easy to manage. I've become more attractive to both men and women. My dear friend told me I smelled like tobacco and earth (I smoke; it actually smells more like pine and earth), which he wasn't into, but I strive for and embrace that aesthetic. Even trimming and grooming have become less of a chore now that I can clearly identify the maverick hairs that need attention. I don't mean to imply that this is some snake oil elixir that will solve all your problems, but it should solve any of your beard-related concerns.
My only criticism stems from the price. I will probably buy this again but I can hardly afford $17 for a tiny vial of vanity. That being said, the service, quality, free shipping, and astonishing shipping speed may make up for that. All things considered, this product and this company, deserve a solid, unwavering 5 stars.

I've been a bearded gentleman since I was 15. I've always been against beard products in the past until I saw an add for smoky mountain beard co. And the scents they offer. Well I received my beard care kit 2 days ago and all I can say is wow! I love it and so does the ol lady... got lucky the first night of using it. She loves the scent of cedarwood and mountain creek. I'm very pleased with the fullness and healthyness the products brought back to my beard. So I just got this kit in the mail and used it today and I have to say it is the best I have used so far. I LOVE the brush, I feel like a cat being brushed. The soap is really nice, gives a great lather without using a lot. I like that it has actual pieces of cedar in it. The oil is really nice too smells great has good hold and doesn't feel heavy. I highly recommend trying the kit out for first time users. I have gotten other kits for more than double the price that are nowhere near as good.
Being that this is the first beard oil and balm that I have used, I have nothing to compare to, but so far so good. Smells good and feels good, I may be using a little too much because I'll need to order again soon. The price is great compared to other brands I have seen, basically double the amount for less $$.

This oil smells great. Not overpowering at all. Really does what it's supposed too. Eliminates the itch and provides your beard with softness. Makes your beard shine yet doesn't make it feel greasy. This is my go to place for beard oil.
This is my first beard oil, so admittedly I can't compare it with others, but I am very happy with it so far. I use it just as they say it should be used and it makes my beard feel great for the rest of the day. The smell is nice but subtle. Also the oil doesn't make it feel greasy at all. When I was young my father took me to a barber shop. Not a beauty salon where most men get their hair cut today. This was one of those two chair places with a checker board, Field and Stream magazines on the tables, and men smoking and talking about hunting, fishing, and politics. This oil has that same smell of that barber shop (other than pipe and cheap cigar smoke). If you are looking for a classic manly scent, try out this beard oil.

I don't smell the "bourbon" in the oil but it does have a light almost baby powder scent that is very mild. I do not even smell it myself after about 10 minutes. My wife likes the smell and it softens my beard very well. Has a dry soft feel once applied to my beard. Not oily at all. Overall its good stuff.
My brother got me a 2 oz. bottle of this for Xmas and I've used it every single day since. Lasted for two months for me with nickel to quarter-sized amounts for a 2-month old beard (and still counting!). The smell of this is amazing. I bought the basic beard care kit....with mountain creek oil and Cedar wood soap. Both are fantastic. The soap lathers into the thickest lather I have ever used.
